About Chris and Laurel
David "Chris" Cowen moved to Lighthouse Point in 1965 and grew up enjoying sports, boating, fishing, and the incredible South Florida Lifestyle. Chris graduated from Pompano High in 1973 and received a full football scholarship to the University of South Carolina, Wofford College and then went on to finish his post graduate education at Gordon Conwell in Massachusetts. Chris has volunteered as a chaplain for the Boca Raton Police Department, and Fire Department, and has played a vital role volunteering in our communities. Chris’ firsthand experience as a quarterback, captain of football and baseball teams, chaplain, and father of two has given him the ability to understand the concept of Teamwork. Chris’ vision to help people move forward with their financial and family dreams is exemplified by his motto: “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!” Finding his niche in the South Florida coastal community residential and luxury waterfront markets plus his professional and personable approach is a winning combination. Chris is now joined by his wife, Laurel, who has 15 years administrative experience in real estate, and they have formed “The Cowen Team.” Chris and Laurel provide superior service, honesty, and integrity, coupled with determination to provide smooth transactions from beginning to end. Chris has become a silver, gold, platinum, and diamond producer in luxury and residential markets.
