About Aretha

Aretha, originally from Austin, Texas, has lived in several vibrant cities before settling in Pompano Beach. She spent time in San Francisco and Oakland, California, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from California College of the Arts. Her journey also took her to Brooklyn, Miami, and Port Aransas, Texas—each of which has shaped her dynamic perspective on real estate. Specializing in condos and single-family homes near the beach, Aretha brings a fresh, creative approach to every property, informed by her diverse life experiences.

Before transitioning into real estate, Aretha was a successful entrepreneur, founding a global nail polish line that ran for 10 years. She gained extensive experience in the beauty industry, overseeing social media, marketing, photography, design, and private label manufacturing, while developing her business and honing her ability to connect with clients and customers. This entrepreneurial background has provided her with a strong understanding of branding, customer service, and building lasting relationships—skills that translate seamlessly into her real estate work today.

As a member of the Broward Shell Club and the Fort Lauderdale Orchid Society, Aretha has developed a deep appreciation for nature and the local environment, which she loves to share with her clients. Outside of her professional life, Aretha is an avid surfer, passionate about music, painting, gardening, and enjoys staying active through Pilates and yoga. Her love for beauty, cooking, and spending time with her dog reflects her vibrant and well-rounded lifestyle.

Though not fully fluent, Aretha speaks a fair amount of Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of clients in the multicultural South Florida market.
